Policies and Procedures
CODE OF CONDUCT
In order for Good Coffee Fest to be a safe and positive experience for all, we expect attendees, vendors, sponsors, volunteers, and guests to exhibit acceptable behavior. Behaviors deemed by staff to be unbecoming of the event or unsafe will warrant immediate expulsion. Unacceptable behavior includes but is not limited to: offensive or unwanted behavior or language including discriminatory, abusive, harassing, intimidating, derogatory, or demeaning speech or actions; intimidation or bullying; possession of a weapon or objects that could be construed as a weapon; possession of illegal substances; sharing your event registration including lanyard and badge with another person; inappropriate disruption of events; real or implied threat; any other illegal activity not covered above.
AGE RESTRICTION
People of all ages are welcome at Good Coffee Fest, but all attendees must present a ticket for admission. Tickets for children 10 and under are free, but do not include access to coffee sampling. In order to purchase or sample alcoholic beverages, attendees must show valid ID at the door and be over the age of 21.
SOLICITATION
Solicitation is not permitted on the premises of the Good Coffee Fest event.
MEDIA RELEASE
By participating in Good Coffee Fest events, I hereby grant and authorize Harvest Hands CDC and its entities, Humphreys Street Coffee and Good Coffee Fest, the right to take, edit, alter, copy, exhibit, publish, distribute and make use of any and all picture, video, and/or audio taken of me to be used in and/or for any lawful promotional materials including, but not limited to, newsletters, flyers, posters, brochures, advertisements, press kits, websites, social networking sites, and other print or digital communications without payment or any other consideration.
This authorization extends to all languages, media, formats, and markets now known or later discovered.
I waive the right to inspect or approve the finished product wherein my likeness appears including written or electronic copy.
Additionally, I waive any right to royalties or other compensation arising or related to the use of my image or recording.
I hereby hold harmless and release Harvest Hands CDC from all liability, petitions, and causes of action which I, my heirs, representatives, executors, or any other persons may make while acting on my behalf or on behalf of my estate.
I grant permissions for all pictures, video, and/or audio captured at Good Coffee Fest.
EMAIL CONSENT
By providing your email address during your participation in Good Coffee Fest and its related events, you consent to the collection and use of your email address by Good Coffee Fest for marketing purposes. Additionally, your email address may be shared with select third-party partners and sponsors for promotional and marketing purposes. If you wish to opt-out of having your email shared with third parties, please contact us at info@harvesthandscdc.com
PERSONAL PHOTOGRAPHY AND SOCIAL MEDIA
Recording of Good Coffee Fest classes is not permitted. Photography and recording of all other parts of the event are encouraged for personal and private use only.
Good Coffee Fest encourages attendees to share their experience on social media. By sharing photos and videos on social media channels, you are consenting that Good Coffee Fest or affiliates may re-share, repost, and use the content prior to, during, and after the event.
MEDIA SHARED BY PRESENTERS
Good Coffee Fest class media and resources are for attendee personal use only unless otherwise stated.
ACCESSIBILITY AND ACCOMMODATIONS

ADVANCED LATTE ART CLASS POLICY
As part of our ongoing commitment to providing a safe and educational experience, we offer the Advanced Latte Art Class in partnership with The Well Coffeehouse. Before participating in this class, all attendees must review and agree to the terms outlined in the class waiver.
Please note that by attending the class, you acknowledge the inherent risks involved with the activities and agree to the waiver’s terms regarding liability and responsibility.

WAIVER OF LAWSUIT/RELEASE OF LIABILITY
By attending Good Coffee Fest, I release Good Coffee Fest and its affiliates from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, and causes of action whatsoever, directly or indirectly arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury, including death, that may be sustained by me while participating in any activity associated with Good Coffee Fest. I agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Good Coffee Fest and its affiliates from any and all costs, expenses, damages, claims, lawsuits, judgments, losses, and/or liabilities arising either directly or indirectly from or related to any and all claims made by or against Good Coffee Fest and its affiliates due to bodily injury, death, loss of use, monetary loss, or any other injury from or related to my attendance at Good Coffee Fest.
PET POLICY
Pets are not permitted at Good Coffee Fest.
BAG POLICY
Bags are permitted at Good Coffee Fest but are subject to search.
EXTERNAL FOOD AND BEVERAGE
External food and beverage are not permitted at Good Coffee Fest. Attendees are permitted to bring their own water.
VENDORS
Participating vendors are solely responsible for the security of all goods, property, equipment, materials, product, and any other items brought to Good Coffee Fest and it’s events. Participating vendors release Good Coffee Fest and its affiliates from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, and causes of action whatsoever, directly or indirectly arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury, including death, that may be sustained while participating in any activity associated with Good Coffee Fest. Participating vendors agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Good Coffee Fest and its affiliates from any and all costs, expenses, damages, claims, lawsuits, judgments, losses, and/or liabilities arising either directly or indirectly from or related to any and all claims made by or against Good Coffee Fest and its affiliates due to bodily injury, death, loss of use, monetary loss, or any other injury from or related to participation in Good Coffee Fest.
